About Sin City

Sin City is a set of neo-noir crime stories written and drawn by Frank Miller and published by Dark Horse Comics. They take place in Basin City, a fictional town in the western United States nicknamed Sin City, and are drawn almost entirely in black and white, with occasional spot colors such as red and yellow.

The first story appeared in April 1991, and the main serial ran in Dark Horse Presents from 1991 to 1992. Later yarns include A Dame to Kill For, The Big Fat Kill and That Yellow Bastard, all gathered in seven trade paperbacks.

Robert Rodriguez and Miller co-directed the 2005 film, followed by Sin City: A Dame to Kill For in 2014.
