About The Boys
The Boys is an adult superhero comic created by writer Garth Ennis and artist Darick Robertson. It follows a small group of CIA agents, led by Billy Butcher and joined by Wee Hughie, whose job is to keep superheroes in check, since most of those heroes have been corrupted by celebrity.
The first six issues came out from WildStorm, a DC imprint, before the series moved to Dynamite Entertainment, which published it through issue #72 in November 2012. The epilogue Dear Becky followed in 2020, and the whole story is collected in 13 numbered trade paperbacks.
Prime Video's adaptation premiered in July 2019 and has led to spin-offs including Diabolical and Gen V.
